ESS-FOOD France changes name to Danish Crown
On 1 October, ESS-FOOD France is changing its name to Danish Crown France S.A.S
The name change simply marks an internal transfer, and is happening to promote the synergies between ESS-FOOD France and Danish Crown’s other activities.
Strategic advantages
ESS-FOOD France currently consists of three units which, in connection with the name change, become part of either the Pork Division or DC Beef.
The sales office in Orléans and the cutting plant Desfis in Le Mans are being transferred to the Pork Division, and will in future be known as DC France, Pork Division.
The company Raynal-Petersen will be transferred to DC Beef under the name DC France, Beef Division.
Same management
Danish Crown France S.A.S’s management continues as before, but with a clear division of responsibilities in relation to the tasks undertaken for the Pork Division and DC Beef, respectively.
Tommy Jensen will continue to head the sales office in Orléans and the cutting plant in Le Mans (Desfis).
Similarly, Jean Michel Foucault will still head Raynal-Petersen.
